Orange Jordan Celebrates Graduation of Sixth Coding Academy Cohort and Second “Digital Upskilling and Employment Program” Scholarship

Amman, Jordan — Orange Jordan, in the presence of H.E. Samira Al-Zoubi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, recently marked a significant milestone with the graduation of 49 youth from the sixth cohort of the Coding Academy at the Orange Digital Center in Amman. This ceremony also celebrated the second cohort of the “Digital Upskilling and Employment Program” (DUEP) scholarship, funded by the Ministry under the “Youth, Technology, and Jobs” (YTJ) project and implemented by the Digital Skills Association (Digiskills).

  • Total Graduates: 49 students (33% female), adding to 100 youth graduates from the DUEP program in Amman this year.
  • Training: Participants completed 640 hours over 4 months, gaining technical and life skills to boost job market readiness.
  • Graduation Success: 100% graduation rate with no dropouts.
  • Employment: Around 50% of graduates have already secured employment, with expectations of further increases.
  • Startup Support: Graduates contributed to 25 startups by developing websites during practical training.
