The second Event Tech Meetup 2025, held at Bayt Al-Thaqafa — Al-Ta’awun Public Library in Riyadh, brought together innovators, investors, and public and private sector leaders to explore cutting-edge technologies shaping Saudi Arabia’s events industry. Organized by the National Events Center, the two-day gathering featured specialized workshops, brainstorming sessions, and product showcases.
Entrepreneurs benefited from the EventTech Tank platform, pitching directly to potential investors. Dulani CEO Lojain Al-Harbi described it as the reward for months of hard work, while Jawlat founder Abdulaziz Al-Subaei valued the rare investor access. Eventify CEO Abdullah Al-Hajji revealed that his company secured an investment during the event, and MILA Celebration’s co-founder Budoor Al-Malik highlighted the networking opportunities with industry peers and backers.
The opening program featured live demonstrations, including the National Events Center’s “SKIP Q” solution to streamline event entry and the Ministry of Tourism’s “Decisions Made in the Moment” analytics platform for real-time tourism strategy insights.
Two expert panels examined AI’s transformative impact—one on reducing event operational costs and improving management, and another on leveraging data for actionable intelligence. Startups across the sector presented innovations, drawing interest from high-profile investors.
Part of the broader “Event Tech 2025” initiative, the meetup supports Saudi Vision 2030 by fostering entrepreneurship and accelerating digital transformation in the Kingdom’s events sector.
