floLIVE Launches Affordable IoT Connectivity to Transform Logistics in sub-Saharan Africa

floLIVE has unveiled a new IoT connectivity solution aimed at revolutionising transportation and logistics monitoring across sub-Saharan Africa. The service enables trucking and supply chain companies to deploy cost-effective, high-bandwidth video surveillance and real-time cargo tracking, ensuring safe, reliable, and timely operations.

Priced about 70% lower than conventional roaming, the offering is tailored for Africa’s operational realities, providing seamless coverage along major business corridors and addressing issues such as network dead zones, inconsistent service, and fragmented SIM infrastructures.

The solution leverages floLIVE’s multi-IMSI technology, allowing a single SIM to switch automatically between multiple mobile network operators in each country, with at least two direct network connections per market. This ensures resilient, always-on connectivity across borders. Customers benefit from a single contract with floLIVE or its regional partners, enjoying consistent pricing and coverage regardless of the local network.

Transportation firms can share subscribed data plans across multiple onboard cameras, monitoring vehicle, driver, and cargo activity in real time. floLIVE SVP Chen Porat said the service “transforms the economics of IoT” and creates predictable, affordable connectivity for scaling operations.
