TMC and SAP Pakistan Host “Digital HR, AI-Driven Experience” Conference in Karachi

In a landmark initiative to redefine the future of work, TMC Pvt. Ltd. partnered with SAP Pakistan to host the “Digital HR, AI-Driven Experience” conference in Karachi on Pakistan’s Independence Day. The event underscored digital HR transformation as a national priority and positioned people strategy at the heart of economic resilience.

The conference gathered top leaders from business, HR, and technology to highlight the shift from traditional HR models to intelligent, AI-powered ecosystems. Currently, only 34% of organizations in Pakistan have fully integrated digital HR functions, underscoring the urgency of transformation.

“Digital HR will lay the groundwork for a smarter Pakistan,” said Saquib Ahmad, Country Managing Director of SAP Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Bahrain, noting that SAP SuccessFactors HCM empowers organizations to build agile, skill-based workforces ready for future challenges.

Abdul Haseeb, Managing Director & CEO of TMC Pvt. Ltd., stressed that the initiative is about sparking a national conversation on talent development. “With AI as the enabler and human experience as the guiding principle, Digital HR is the blueprint for the workforce of tomorrow,” he said.

Expert panels featured insights from leading companies including Engro Corporation, Tapal Tea, Pakistan Cables, and Lucky Core. Discussions focused on workforce upskilling, generational transitions, talent retention, and the shift from administrative HR to data-driven, growth-oriented models.
