QNB has marked a new milestone in regional payments innovation by becoming the first bank in the GCC to enable digital wallet acceptance through a single unified integration on the Mastercard Gateway hosted checkout platform.
The solution utilizes Mastercard’s latest hosted checkout capability, enabling digital wallets through a single integration flow for both web and mobile environments. This approach simplifies technical processes, accelerates time-to-market, and boosts merchant satisfaction—particularly benefiting SMBs that rely on ready-to-deploy payment solutions.
With the rollout, all new e-commerce merchants onboarded through QNB’s Hosted Checkout are automatically enabled to accept digital wallets, while existing merchants will be seamlessly upgraded without additional development costs or time.
