Chinese PC giant Lenovo is setting up a new regional headquarters in Riyadh, marking a significant expansion of its Middle East operations. The HQ will be located at Al Majdoul Tower, a fast-growing hub for technology and innovation in Saudi Arabia.
The company has appointed Lawrence Yu to head regional operations, with Giovanni Di Filippo as General Manager for Lenovo Saudi Arabia and Zoran Radumilo as Chief Technology Officer.
In partnership with ALAT, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, Lenovo will also establish a 200,000-sqm manufacturing facility inside Riyadh’s Special Integrated Logistics Zone. The plant, set to begin production in 2026, will produce “Saudi Made” PCs, laptops, smartphones, and servers — a move designed to strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a regional technology hub.
Alongside the HQ and manufacturing site, Lenovo plans to expand its retail footprint and VIP service centers. Together, these investments are projected to contribute up to $10 billion to Saudi Arabia’s non-oil GDP by 2030, aligning with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 diversification goals.
