OmniOps and Groq Sign Strategic MoU to Advance Sovereign AI Infrastructure in Saudi Arabia

OmniOps, Saudi Arabia’s leading AI infrastructure provider, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Groq, a global innovator in AI semiconductors and inference acceleration, to boost AI deployment and adoption across the Kingdom.

The collaboration aims to provide high-performance, low-latency AI infrastructure that is locally hosted and fully compliant with Saudi regulations. By combining OmniOps’ sovereign AI infrastructure and deployment expertise with GroqCloud’s inference capabilities, the partnership will deliver scalable, secure, and accessible AI solutions that align with the Kingdom’s digital transformation agenda.

OmniOps Founding CEO Mohammed Altassan said: “Groq is one of the world’s most exciting players in AI accelerator ASICs, and we’re thrilled to partner with them to expand world-class inference capabilities across Saudi Arabia. Together, we’re building a future where AI is not only powerful, but sovereign, secure, and accessible to all.”

Fahad Alturief, VP & MD MENA at Groq, added: “Saudi Arabia is taking bold steps to build a world-class AI ecosystem. By combining Groq’s industry-leading inference technology with OmniOps’ sovereign infrastructure, we can accelerate adoption and deliver measurable value for organizations across the Kingdom.”

Under the MoU, both companies will explore joint opportunities in:

  • Accelerating enterprise-grade inference across sectors such as government, energy, and aviation.
  • Deploying sovereign, locally hosted inference-as-a-service powered by Groq’s hardware and OmniOps’ software.
  • Ensuring compliance with national data protection and cybersecurity regulations.
  • Supporting AI and data sovereignty through both on-premise and sovereign cloud models.

This agreement reinforces commitments to Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Strategy for Data and AI, advancing the Kingdom’s AI infrastructure while promoting innovation, security, and sustainability.
