Muscat – Yango Group has officially launched its Transport Service in Muscat, adding a public mobility feature to the Yango Superapp. The free service provides users with real-time routes and schedules for 13 city bus lines and two intercity routes linking Muscat with the UAE, making urban navigation more seamless for residents and visitors.
This launch strengthens Yango’s ecosystem in Oman, where its offerings already include ride-hailing, delivery, cargo, and rentals, underlining its mission to streamline urban living through technology.
Islam Abdul Karim, Regional Head of Yango Middle East, stated:
“Seamless daily mobility shouldn’t depend on how you move, but on how effortlessly technology can empower your choices in Oman. Our vision goes beyond transportation — we are building a localized tech ecosystem that simplifies life across services, from mobility to upcoming AI solutions aligned with national development goals.”
The new transport integration positions Yango as more than just a mobility provider. By blending public transit, private rides, and digital services under one app, the company aims to support Oman’s urban modernization agenda and meet the growing demand for smart city solutions.
