CloudSky has entered into a landmark partnership with Saudi Telecom Company (STC), showcasing its advanced technical and commercial capabilities while setting the stage for the development of next-generation digital services powered by 5G.
At the heart of this collaboration is CloudSky’s Immersive Cloud Computing (ICC) solution, which will enable STC to unlock new revenue streams and introduce innovative application scenarios. By leveraging 5G’s high bandwidth and ultra-low latency, ICC technology promises to enhance user engagement and accelerate STC’s vision for advanced digital services.
A key highlight of the discussions was CloudSky’s Esports PC as a Service (Esports SaaS) platform. This solution delivers premium, hardware-independent gaming experiences by processing high-end graphics entirely in the cloud, ensuring smooth and immersive gameplay for users.
The collaboration extends beyond gaming, with both companies exploring wider applications of ICC technology in sectors such as remote education, artificial intelligence acceleration, autonomous driving, intelligent drones, smart factories, and the metaverse.
CloudSky Founder and CEO Crusoe Mao led a delegation to STC headquarters, where in-depth discussions with senior executives helped shape the partnership’s next phase. Mao emphasized the shared vision, stating: “The strategic collaboration and our shared vision have established a solid foundation for the journey ahead. We look forward to delivering ICC-powered solutions that contribute to the Kingdom’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.”
This partnership not only reinforces STC’s leadership in 5G innovation but also aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader ambition to become a hub for advanced digital services under Vision 2030.
