HONOR has unveiled the Magic V5 in Bangladesh, the world’s slimmest foldable phone, redefining smartphone design and durability. Measuring just 4.1mm when unfolded and 8.8mm when folded, and weighing 217 grams, the Magic V5 blends portability with cutting-edge engineering. It has also secured a Guinness World Record for durability by lifting 104kg while suspended.
The launch took place on August 24, 2025, at the Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel, with HONOR officials and corporate partners in attendance. Speaking at the event, Lang Guo highlighted the brand’s commitment to transforming mobile interactions with crease-free folding technology and silicon-carbon battery innovation.
The Magic V5 features a 7.95-inch inner display and a 6.43-inch outer screen, both 120Hz LTPO OLED panels, supported by advanced hinge design for a crease-resistant fold. With IP58 and IP59 ratings, it offers strong dust and water resistance. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the device comes with 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, and a 5,820mAh silicon-carbon battery — the world’s first of its kind — supporting 66W wired and 50W wireless HONOR SuperCharge.
For photography, the HONOR AI Falcon Camera System includes a 64MP periscope telephoto, a 50MP wide-angle, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens, all enhanced by AI image processing.
Pre-orders are open until August 30, 2025, through authorized retailers and HONOR’s official website. Customers who pre-order and purchase during this period will receive HONOR Choice Headphones Pro and a HONOR SuperCharge 100W wireless charger stand, along with 12-month interest-free EMI options.
Alongside the Magic V5, HONOR also launched the Pad 10 tablet in Bangladesh. Powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen chip, it comes with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, a 10,100mAh battery with 35W SuperCharge, and a Smart Stylus pen for productivity — weighing just 525g and 6.29mm thin.
