Manama, August 2025 — StartUp Bahrain, powered by Tamkeen, has announced the return of its flagship entrepreneurship event, StartUp Bahrain Weekend, with the fifth edition scheduled for October 9–11, 2025 at the American University of Bahrain (AUBH).
The 54-hour startup marathon will gather more than 250 founders, developers, designers, and marketers to form teams, build startups from the ground up, and pitch their ideas to a panel of judges. Winners will secure cash prizes of up to BD 1,000, alongside additional perks and awards.
Collaboration and Mentorship
This year’s edition is being organized in strategic partnership with Brinc, General Assembly Bahrain, Reboot Coding Institute, Spring Venture Services, Ordable, AUBH, DOO, and other partners to be announced. The program will feature a keynote by a leading founder, hands-on mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs, and networking opportunities designed to help participants connect with potential co-founders and industry leaders.
More Than a Competition
Organizers emphasized that StartUp Bahrain Weekend is not only about competing but also about collaboration and learning. Participants will be encouraged to develop minimum viable products (MVPs), refine their business ideas, and gain valuable exposure within Bahrain’s growing startup ecosystem.
Registration Now Open
Tickets are now available at startupbahrain.com/weekend, with limited availability. Organizers urged interested participants to register early to secure their spot in what has become one of Bahrain’s premier entrepreneurship gatherings.
