Muscat – Oman Data Park (ODP), the sultanate’s leading provider of managed services, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity, has issued a tender for the design, supply, installation, and maintenance of The National System for Innovations, Projects and Government Procurement (Takamul).
Launched by the Projects, Tenders and Local Content Authority, the Takamul initiative aims to establish a next-generation national system that enhances transparency, efficiency, and accountability in managing government projects and tenders. The system will be built using the latest Oracle technologies and powered by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure through ODP, alongside Oracle application licences.
Takamul will integrate five core domains: Supplier Relationship Management, Government Procurement Management, Government Project Management, Contract Management, and Tender Management. The unified platform will enable seamless execution of every stage of project and procurement cycles — from planning, tendering, and awarding, to monitoring, execution, and closure.
ODP CEO Maqbool Al Wahaibi said: “We are proud of the trust placed in us to deliver this national project in partnership with global companies. Takamul reflects our commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions that support digital transformation, strengthen local content, and create opportunities for SMEs and job seekers, in line with Oman Vision 2040.”
The system is expected to improve operational efficiency across government entities, strengthen supplier relationships, foster data-driven decision-making, and advance Oman’s public sector digital transformation agenda.
By positioning itself at the forefront of the project, ODP further reinforces its role as a key national partner in building Oman’s digital infrastructure and as an innovative digital hub in the region.
