Khazna Data Centres Secures $2.62 Billion Credit Facility to Accelerate MENA and Global Expansion

UAE-based Khazna Data Centres has secured a $2.62 billion credit facility from a consortium of local banks, led by Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), to fund its regional and global growth strategy. The 10-year facility will enable Khazna to expand its operational footprint across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), where total data centre capacity is projected to double over the next five years.

Holding a 73% market share in the UAE, Khazna is looking to strengthen its presence in other markets. Current projects include two new facilities in Abu Dhabi, one in Dubai, and an AI-enabled data centre in Ajman. Internationally, Khazna aims to scale to 1 gigawatt of capacity with projects underway in France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, and Kenya.

The financing follows Khazna’s July partnership with NVIDIA to build large-scale, AI-ready data centres across the Middle East and Africa, positioning the company as a key enabler of advanced computing and AI infrastructure in the region.
