Vodafone Egypt has announced two senior leadership appointments to reinforce its executive structure and support the company’s strategic transformation. Effective October 1, Ayman El-Saadany will serve as Chief External Affairs Officer, while Rasha Hamdy will take on the role of Chief Legal Officer. Both will join Vodafone Egypt’s Executive Committee and report directly to CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Abdallah, who also serves as Regional CEO for International Markets at Vodacom Group.
The changes follow the transition of Ayman Essam to his new global role as Chief External Affairs Officer at Vodacom Group. El-Saadany, who currently leads Government Relations and Public Policy, will now oversee regulatory affairs, public policy, external communications, sustainability, corporate security, and the Vodafone Egypt Foundation. His expanded responsibilities aim to strengthen the company’s engagement strategy and support Egypt’s digital transformation agenda.
Hamdy, formerly Head of Legal Affairs, will direct legal operations spanning contracts, compliance, governance, risk management, data privacy, and dispute resolution. Her appointment is expected to enhance operational efficiency and align corporate practices with global standards.
These appointments highlight Vodafone Egypt’s commitment to leadership continuity, institutional development, and advancing its long-term vision of driving digital growth and delivering a better future for all.
