Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) has introduced free Wi-Fi and telephone services at Sylhet Osmani International Airport, aiming to improve communication facilities for passengers.
The service was inaugurated by Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser on the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology. Speaking at the event, he said the initiative would significantly enhance connectivity for both domestic and international travelers passing through the airport.
The ministry also announced that free Wi-Fi coverage will soon expand across the entire airport, ensuring seamless digital access for passengers. Sylhet Deputy Commissioner Md Sarwar Alam attended the inauguration ceremony, underscoring the government’s commitment to enhancing passenger convenience and modernizing airport infrastructure.
