IFS, a global leader in enterprise cloud and Industrial AI software, will spotlight its Industrial AI vision at IFS Connect Middle East & Africa 2025, taking place on September 10 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Riyadh. Themed “Powering Vision 2030: Industry-Centric Innovation for National Transformation,” the event will bring together over 500 industry leaders.
Unlike traditional AI, which focuses on automation, Industrial AI — coupled with Agentic AI — is designed to act, decide, and optimise operations in real time. According to Rahul Misra, SVP & MD for MEA at IFS, this capability is crucial for sectors like energy, aviation, giga projects, and utilities, where intelligent, context-aware decision-making can transform outcomes.
IFS aims to embed Industrial AI at the core of mission-critical operations rather than treating it as an add-on. This includes predictive maintenance in utilities, fleet reliability in aviation, project optimisation in construction, and 5G rollouts in telecom. Notable success stories in the region include IFS’s partnership with Milaha in Qatar for AI-driven maritime logistics, engineering and construction projects in the UAE, and collaborations with Saudi utilities to enhance investment planning and sustainability.
Recent acquisitions and partnerships strengthen IFS’s offerings. The acquisition of 7bridges adds AI-powered supply chain optimisation, while the Copperleaf partnership delivers end-to-end asset investment planning. Together, these capabilities help industries make smarter, long-term investment decisions.
Misra stressed that IFS’s role is not just technological but also societal — empowering workforces, building skills, and aligning with national agendas like Saudi Vision 2030. With new offices in Riyadh and Dubai, regional partnerships with firms like SBM, and collaborations with Deloitte, Accenture, and PwC, IFS is investing in a sustainable ecosystem to scale AI adoption across the Middle East.
At IFS Connect MEA 2025, the company will unveil new Industrial AI features within IFS Cloud, deepen partnerships in Saudi utilities, and highlight customer success stories. Looking ahead, IFS’s priorities include expanding its AI footprint, driving sector-specific leadership, and cementing its role as the partner of choice for national transformation initiatives.
