Jazz Completes Full 4G Upgrade Across Central Punjab Regions

ISLAMABAD: Jazz has successfully completed the full upgrade of its network to 4G across Central A and Central B regions, stretching from Jhelum in the north to Sadiqabad in the south. This milestone ensures customers across Punjab benefit from faster internet speeds, stronger coverage, and a superior digital experience.

The achievement builds on Jazz’s role as Pakistan’s first telecom operator to completely phase out 3G and reallocate all spectrum to 4G. Today, more than 53 million subscribers enjoy enhanced connectivity that supports streaming, mobile banking, and a growing range of digital lifestyle services. With 75% of Jazz’s customer base now on 4G, the network contributes significantly to the company’s Service Co vision, with digital services generating a quarter of its revenue.

Kazim Mujtaba, President Consumer Division, Jazz, remarked: “Our reliable 4G network is transforming millions of lives across Pakistan. This is about more than connectivity—it’s about enabling access to essential services in healthcare, education, finance, and entertainment, shaping a more inclusive digital future.”

Khalid Shehzad, Chief Technology Officer, Jazz, added: “Achieving 100% 4G readiness across these regions is a proud moment. It demonstrates our commitment to empowering communities through stronger connectivity and unlocking opportunities in the digital space.”

This milestone reinforces Jazz’s standing as Pakistan’s leading digital operator. Looking ahead, the company plans to extend its 4G coverage to more regions and provinces, working to bridge the digital divide and deliver reliable connectivity to even more Pakistanis.

Jazz’s continued investments highlight its ambition to shape a digitally inclusive future, powered by innovation, connectivity, and customer-focused services.
