ALPTech, a global provider of AI, computational finance, and advanced analytics, has officially opened its Riyadh office as part of its strategic expansion into Saudi Arabia, supported by AstroLabs, the Gulf’s leading business expansion platform.
The move reflects ALPTech’s entry into one of the world’s fastest-growing AI economies. Saudi Arabia’s strong AI investments and forward-thinking regulatory landscape have positioned the Kingdom as a global hub for deploying large-scale data-driven solutions. Ranked 14th worldwide and first in the Arab world in the 2024 Global AI Index, Saudi Arabia is also among the top ten markets for AI talent density.

Founded in 2019, ALPTech serves banks, asset managers, family offices, and corporates across the GCC and beyond. With its Riyadh office, the firm aims to meet growing enterprise demand for solutions in risk analytics, data strategy, AI transformation, and ESG/climate intelligence.
The new office complements ALPTech’s hubs in Dubai, London, and Pune, while strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a strategic hub in its global network. “Saudi Arabia is a key focus for us,” said Ashwani Roy, Co-Founder and Lead Scientist. “We are committed to building local capabilities and investing in Saudi talent to deliver measurable outcomes.”
As part of the expansion, Co-Founder and Head of MENA, Sharad Gupta, has relocated from Dubai to Riyadh to lead Saudi operations. Gupta emphasized ALPTech’s dual focus on serving financial institutions with AI-driven analytics and mentoring the next generation of Saudi AI leaders through university collaborations.
This expansion underscores ALPTech’s long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia as both a hub for innovation and a key growth market in the global AI landscape.
