Digital Parks Africa and iXAfrica Forge Partnership to Build Pan-African Data Centre Network

Digital Parks Africa (DPA), a South African-owned data centre provider, has entered into a reciprocal partnership with iXAfrica Data Centres, operator of East Africa’s first hyperscale, AI-ready facility in Kenya. The collaboration aims to deliver integrated, world-class data centre services across Southern and East Africa.

Through this alliance, DPA customers will gain access to Kenya’s robust ecosystem of fibre and cloud operators, while iXAfrica clients can leverage DPA’s established infrastructure in South Africa. The partnership enables multinational businesses to streamline operations across both regions through a single solution, ensuring reliable, efficient, and scalable data centre services.

Both companies view the collaboration as a strategic step toward creating a pan-African digital backbone, positioning themselves as leading partners for hyperscalers, enterprises, and governments driving the continent’s digital growth. The initiative will support expansion into new economic hubs and provide a trusted platform for advancing AI, cloud, and connectivity services.

Snehar Shah, CEO of iXAfrica, emphasized that the partnership gives customers the confidence to scale seamlessly across borders with the same reliability and efficiency seen in global markets, ultimately enabling Africa’s digital transformation.
