Kalaam Telecom and Riedel Networks Extend Partnership to Strengthen Motorsport and Enterprise Connectivity in MENA

Kalaam Telecom Group’s wholesale division, Kalaam Carrier Solutions (KCS), has extended its strategic partnership with Riedel Networks for another three years, reinforcing their role in delivering mission-critical connectivity for motorsport, media, and enterprise customers across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Since 2022, the collaboration has successfully powered high-performance communications for races in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE. At the core of this achievement is a robust regional network anchored by a key Point of Presence (POP) in Manama, Bahrain. The POP, fully integrated with Kalaam’s terrestrial KNOT cable system, provides a 100% terrestrial route across the region and direct connectivity to Riedel’s global backbone, ensuring secure, resilient, and low-latency performance.

The partnership has also simplified regional access for enterprises in sectors such as finance, energy, and logistics, enabling seamless links between local branches and global networks. With the renewed agreement, the two companies plan to expand infrastructure, add interconnection points, and introduce new services tailored to enterprises, broadcasters, and digital platforms.

“As a Bahraini company, Kalaam is proud to serve as the connectivity partner of choice for the world’s premier motorsport series,” said Veer Passi, Group CEO of Kalaam Telecom. “Riedel Networks’ decision to establish Bahrain as their regional hub highlights the Kingdom’s growing role as a digital gateway, while reinforcing Kalaam’s capability to deliver reliable, high-speed connectivity for global events.”

Michael Martens, CEO of Riedel Networks, added, “Our partnership with Kalaam has enabled us to deliver premium connectivity for international motorsport events and provide reliable network solutions for enterprises in the region. With this renewal, we will expand joint services to meet the increasing demands of corporate and global event customers.”
