BNET Achieves 99.63% Success Rate in Delivering Home Internet in Bahrain

Bahrain Network (BNET), the national fibre broadband provider, has achieved a 99.63% success rate in delivering home internet connections for licensed operators’ customers across the Kingdom. The milestone reflects the company’s commitment to improving efficiency and enhancing Bahrain’s digital infrastructure.

Key initiatives driving this success include the One-Stop Shop, which streamlines requests with support from the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), reducing rejections by proactively resolving infrastructure issues such as excavation and cable laying. BNET has also introduced 24-hour appointment booking, enabling service activation within just four hours of request submission.

Additionally, the Fast Track initiative brings together planning, deployment, and operations teams to accelerate last-mile coordination and improve service delivery near customer premises. These efforts support BNET’s broader strategy to strengthen Bahrain’s fibre optic infrastructure, empower operators to provide ultra-fast internet of up to 1 Gbps, and enhance customer experiences.

BNET CEO Ahmed Jaber Alhogbani Aldoseri described the achievement as a testament to the company’s role in advancing Bahrain’s position as a regional digital hub. CTO Dr. Mohamed Tayeb Mahmood praised the fibre infrastructure team’s dedication and highlighted cross-functional collaboration as central to sustaining high service quality and customer satisfaction.
