Vodafone Oman and Software Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on developing next-generation digital financial services in the Sultanate. The partnership aims to accelerate Oman’s digital economy, enhance financial inclusion, and deliver customer-centric financial solutions tailored to individuals, businesses, and institutions.
The collaboration will leverage Software Group’s DigiWave Digital Banking Platform and a suite of digital channels, including mobile wallets, agency banking, mobile and internet banking, digital lending, and integration services. These offerings are designed to meet the evolving needs of Oman’s financial ecosystem, supporting banks, fintechs, government agencies, and enterprises.
Sayyid Fahad Abdul Aziz Saud Al-Busaidi, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Vodafone Oman, said the priority is to remove barriers to essential services. “Our partnership with Software Group will ensure a seamless integration of digital financial solutions into our ecosystem, giving customers secure and convenient ways to manage their everyday needs,” he noted.
Software Group CEO Kalin Radev emphasized that the partnership is aligned with Oman’s Vision 2040, which prioritizes digital transformation, financial inclusion, and sustainable economic growth.
