BAGH, AJK — The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), under the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, has inaugurated the country’s first-ever Women Software Technology Park (WSTP) at the Women’s University in Bagh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Built with an investment of PKR 31 million and spanning 5,000 square feet, the park is exclusively designed to provide a secure, modern, and ICT-enabled workspace for women in technology. Developed in partnership with the Special Communications Organization (SCO-AJK) and the Women’s University of AJK, the facility will host IT and IT-enabled Services (ITeS) companies, creating new opportunities for women in the sector.
To mark the milestone, PSEB will hold an Open House Session on September 23, 2025, inviting companies and stakeholders to explore potential collaborations.
The initiative is part of PSEB’s agenda to empower women, foster entrepreneurship, and drive innovation in Pakistan’s IT industry. By establishing a women-only technology park, the government aims to break social and infrastructural barriers, enabling women professionals and entrepreneurs to play a greater role in the country’s digital economy.
