Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy Showcases Initiatives at Seoul Startup Festival

Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, operating under Dubai Chambers, highlighted its flagship programs at the ‘Try Everything 2025’ startup festival in Seoul, South Korea. Central to its showcase was Business in Dubai, a platform that helps digital companies set up or expand in the emirate by providing institutional services, operational support, and business matchmaking to connect with investors, partners, and customers.

During the event, the chamber facilitated 86 bilateral meetings with startups, venture capital funds, and innovation ecosystem partners, promoting Dubai’s competitive digital business environment and cross-sector opportunities. It also supported seven Dubai-based startups—Procurehub, Pharmedic, Seafood Souq, Ketrone, Supy, Circa Biotech, and One Loyalty—that collectively held 140 meetings to advance their growth and international expansion.

In addition, the chamber promoted Expand North Star 2025, the world’s largest startup and investor event, scheduled for 12–15 October at Dubai Harbour. Organized by Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by the chamber, the event offers global startups a platform to secure partnerships and investment. Notably, South Korean participation in Expand North Star surged from 72 companies in 2023 to 152 in 2024, underscoring the event’s growing significance as a gateway for international expansion.
