Manama, Bahrain — General Assembly Bahrain (GA), a leader in transformative tech and digital skills training, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mazad B.S.C. to strengthen workforce upskilling and digital innovation in support of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
The agreement sets a framework for collaboration between GA Bahrain, operating in strategic partnership with Tamkeen, and Mazad, Bahrain’s leading digital auction and marketplace platform. Together, the two organizations aim to empower Bahraini professionals with world-class training, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry needs while creating pathways for long-term career adaptability.
Through this partnership, GA Bahrain students will gain access to high-growth industries, while Mazad will benefit from a steady stream of skilled professionals ready to meet the demands of the digital economy. Officials said the initiative reflects a shared vision of positioning Bahrain as a hub for talent and technology in the region.
“This MoU is more than a partnership, it’s a reflection of our shared belief in Bahrain’s talent and potential,” said Ahlam Oun, Director of General Assembly Bahrain. “Together, we are building a future where skills and opportunity align seamlessly.”
Nezar Habib, CEO of Mazad, added: “This collaboration is a strategic investment in Bahrain’s human capital. By connecting world-class training with industry needs, we ensure that Bahraini professionals are not only ready to participate in the digital economy but to lead it.”
Since its launch, GA Bahrain has trained professionals across fields such as software engineering, UX design, and data, producing graduates who now contribute to finance, technology, government, and startups. Mazad, backed by Mumtalakat, continues to drive Bahrain’s digital transformation with its innovative auctions and marketplace solutions.
