Omnimo has introduced the nRF52840, a compact development board built on Nordic’s multiprotocol SoC, offering Bluetooth Low Energy, Bluetooth mesh, NFC, Thread, and Zigbee support. The board is designed to work seamlessly with popular ecosystems such as Feather, Qwiic, mikroBUS, and Pmod. In a historic milestone, the Omnimo nRF52840 has become Algeria’s first device to receive OSHWA (Open Source Hardware Association) certification, registered under DZ000001, marking a new chapter for the country’s open hardware community.
