In a landmark development for Pakistan’s tech ecosystem, the Citadel Pathfinder School of Excellence has signed an MoU with the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) at the Expo Center Karachi. The partnership will prepare Pakistani startups to compete in the Davos Startup Challenge during the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in January 2026.
Under the agreement, Citadel Pathfinder will provide mentorship and training, while P@SHA will leverage its industry network and international connections. Startups selected for the program will receive global exposure and the chance to pitch before top international investors at Davos.
Ikram Sehgal, Chairman of the Pathfinder Group, said: “This MoU marks a pivotal step in transforming Pakistan’s youth into global tech leaders. By partnering with P@SHA, we are not just building skills—we are building bridges to the world economy, starting with Davos.”
P@SHA Chairman Sajjad Mustafa Syed echoed this vision, adding: “The Davos Startup Challenge is a golden opportunity to showcase Pakistan’s digital prowess to global investors. Through this collaboration, we will equip entrepreneurs to compete, innovate, and thrive internationally.”
The initiative underscores Pakistan’s ambition to position its startups and entrepreneurs on the global stage, driving innovation, competitiveness, and visibility for the country’s digital economy.
