The fourth annual Iraq International Communications and Information Technology Exhibition (ITEX IRAQ 2025) will open tomorrow, September 26, at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds under the patronage of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani. Running until September 28, the event is set to become Iraq’s largest and most significant technology forum.
Ammar Munim, Head of the Government Communication Team, described ITEX IRAQ 2025 as a strategic platform to highlight Iraq’s digital achievements, attract foreign investment, and advance the country’s role as a regional hub for digital transformation.
The exhibition has drawn participation from over 250 companies and entities across 35 countries, with more than 100,000 visitors expected. It will feature 12 specialized conferences on digital transformation, fintech, AI, e-commerce, and cybersecurity.
A highlight of the event is the digital government pavilion, where 13 ministries and government agencies will present their projects in e-government and smart services. Munim emphasized that the exhibition strengthens collaboration between the public and private sectors while opening doors for international partnerships to support Iraq’s technology-driven future.
