Omnes Technologies, the MENA region’s MarTech innovation leader, is set to launch its first Mobile Developers Week from December 13 to 15 at the Abu Dhabi Energy Center. The event will unite global developer communities and spotlight the UAE’s growing dominance in the global mobile economy.
The landmark conference will feature four specialized stages — GovAI Summit, NextPlay Arena, Droidcon, and Swift Heroes — addressing key challenges and opportunities in mobile development. For the first time, Droidcon and Swift Heroes, premier global Android and iOS developer communities, will come together under one roof.
Organizers expect over 2,500 visitors, with highlights including live app launches, startup pitches, networking zones, and an interactive exhibition showcasing the latest innovations. More than 60 speakers from leading regional and global tech companies will share insights on mobile technology’s role in shaping digital economies.
The event comes as global mobile users are set to reach 7.49 billion by 2025 and app-related revenue is projected to exceed $935 billion. With 98% of app revenue coming from advertising and in-app purchases, Omnes Technologies sees Mobile Developers Week as a catalyst for cross-platform innovation and monetization.
Supported by the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau, Azure Group, Omnes Media, and other partners, the event reinforces Abu Dhabi’s position as a global hub for technology innovation and business tourism. It also aligns with the UAE’s strategy to raise the digital economy’s contribution to non-oil GDP from 12% to 20% by 2030.
Fahed Aldeeb, Founder & CEO of Omnes Technologies, emphasized: “The Mobile Developers Week will serve as a catalyst for the next wave of digital innovation, creating unprecedented opportunities for developers, entrepreneurs, and investors to connect and collaborate.”
