Riyadh – Arabian Internet and Communications Services Company (Solutions by stc) has signed a SAR 313.39 million ($62 million) agreement with Saudi Telecom Company (stc) to expand and upgrade network infrastructure supporting its business units.
The 36-month contract covers internal and international network upgrades, replacement of obsolete equipment, and enhancements to support the growth of 5G services. It also includes virtual broadband upgrades, network expansion, and the development of new data centre infrastructure in Khamis Mushait, Dammam, Qassim, and north Riyadh.
The scope further extends to the supply, installation, and testing of systems and equipment, with financial impacts expected to reflect in the company’s results from Q1 2026.
This investment comes on the heels of Solutions by stc launching its Business-Critical Network, designed to support key sectors such as government, healthcare, and oil and gas, underscoring the company’s role in advancing Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation.
