Amman, November 3, 2025 — As part of its mission to empower youth and nurture innovation, Orange Jordan’s Fabrication Lab at the Orange Digital Center has concluded a series of hands-on training programs designed to help young Jordanians transform creative ideas into practical, market-ready projects.
The month-long Sumo Robotics Workshop brought together over 50 students from universities across Jordan, preparing eight teams to design, build, and compete with their own robots at Al-Hussein Technical University. The program included specialized sessions on fabrication, mechanical design, and programming, offering participants direct mentorship from expert engineers.
In a separate initiative, the Fabrication Lab also ran a four-month Graduation Projects Support Program, enabling students to develop solutions in robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, drones, and surgical robotics. The initiative strengthened participants’ technical and problem-solving skills while promoting innovation tailored to both local and global market needs.
Orange Jordan emphasized that these programs demonstrate its ongoing commitment to youth empowerment, digital education, and innovation-led learning. By integrating practical training with creativity and entrepreneurship, the company aims to equip the next generation of leaders with the skills needed to thrive in the digital economy and reinforce Jordan’s position as a regional hub for technology and innovation.
