Maroc Telecom Group Exceeds 81 Million Customers, Strengthening Leadership Across Africa

Maroc Telecom Group has achieved a major milestone, surpassing 81 million customers by the end of Q3 2025 — a 1.8% year-on-year increase. The growth was largely driven by the continued success of its Moov Africa subsidiaries, which recorded a 3.3% rise during the same period.

Operating across 11 African countries, Maroc Telecom continues to reinforce its position as one of the continent’s leading telecommunications providers. Its growth has been supported by expanding services in mobile, fixed broadband, and mobile money, alongside accelerated progress in Morocco’s fiber optics and 5G deployment preparations.

According to its Q3 2025 financial report, the Group recorded revenues of MAD 27.3 billion, up 1.2% year-over-year, with international subsidiaries contributing significantly to overall performance. EBITDA stood at MAD 13.7 billion, maintaining a strong 50.2% margin, while investments surged 36% to support the upcoming 5G launch in Morocco.

Maroc Telecom’s ongoing partnerships—particularly with Inwi on fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and 5G infrastructure projects—continue to enhance network coverage and capacity. Meanwhile, the Moov Africa subsidiaries have reported substantial growth in mobile data usage (+15.1%), mobile money transactions (+23.2%), and fixed broadband subscriptions (+19.2%).

These results reaffirm Maroc Telecom’s commitment to innovation, digital inclusion, and long-term investment, driving sustainable growth and advancing Africa’s digital transformation agenda.
