Vida Raises $4M Series A to Scale AI Voice Agents and Strengthen Executive Team

Vida has closed a $4 million Series A funding round led by Trammell Venture Partners with participation from Timechain and other investors, supporting expansion of its AI-powered voice technology and entry into new markets. The Austin-based company is rapidly growing as a provider of AI-driven phone agents that automate customer engagement and reduce reliance on human call center teams.

Vida’s AI agents have handled more than 100 million interactions and currently operate across sectors including construction, healthcare, automotive, telecommunications, and managed services. The new capital will accelerate product development and broaden reach to small businesses, telecom operators, and global service providers. Analysis of more than 10,000 calls showed that Vida’s AI agents resolve inquiries significantly faster than traditional human support, enabling shorter wait times and higher operational efficiency.

The investment also adds new leadership: Christopher Calicott of Trammell Venture Partners has joined as Board Chairman, while Jordan Gadapee becomes CMO, Mark Lilien joins as CTO, and Thomas Quintana is appointed VP of AI — bringing deep expertise in telecom, AI engineering, and SaaS scaling from previous roles at Textline, Inteliquent, and others.

Founded by telecom veterans, Vida offers an AI operating system for voice, SMS, and digital workflows including scheduling, customer service, lead qualification, and sales conversions — delivering natural, real-time interactions designed to help businesses grow with scalable automation.
