Jordan’s government reported that 14 major initiatives in digital economy, ICT, cybersecurity, and postal services were completed in October 2025, highlighting accelerating national progress in digital transformation, according to a ministerial achievements report released Sunday.
The Ministry of Digital Economy advanced entrepreneurship support by launching the Jahez programme to help early-stage startups access mentorship, training, and funding. It also introduced the Jordan-UK Tech Connect Forum 2025 in London to strengthen international technology partnerships and promote investment under the Jordan Source initiative. The ministry ranked first on the National Integrity Index, reinforcing transparency and institutional governance efforts.
The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) rolled out new Mobile Number Portability Service Instructions for 2025, advancing competition and consumer empowerment. It also launched a Postal Entrepreneurship initiative for university students and took part in regional and global forums, including International Cyber Week in Singapore and Arab WTDC-25 preparatory meetings.
The National Cyber Security Centre expanded national resilience efforts through the fourth edition of its “Digital Hint” awareness campaign, a Q2 cyber risk report, and continued implementation of the National Cyber Security Framework.
Meanwhile, Jordan Post Company enhanced its role in e-commerce and logistics through a collaboration with DHL and expanded domestic and international money transfer services via its branch network.
