Egypt expands cybersecurity training across 14 governorates through Digital Creativity Centers

Egypt has launched specialized cybersecurity training programmes across 14 governorates through its network of Digital Creativity Centers, known as Creativa. The initiative is part of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s wider strategy to develop skilled national talent capable of supporting secure digital transformation.

The training is being delivered in collaboration with the National Institute of Communications, the National Center for Computer and Network Emergencies (EG-CERT), Middle East Information Technology Services (MCS), and major global cybersecurity partners including Google Cloud Security, Palo Alto Networks, F5, Trellix and Career 180.

This year’s academy tracks cover a broad range of disciplines—cybersecurity fundamentals, privacy protection, cyberattack mitigation, preparation for globally recognised certifications, and freelance career skills. The goal is to equip participants with the practical expertise needed to compete in domestic, regional and international markets.

By investing in cybersecurity skills development at scale, Egypt is strengthening its national cyber readiness, preparing the next generation of IT professionals and ensuring that its digital transformation efforts are backed by strong, capable human resources.
