Orange Maroc has inaugurated its new-generation Orange Tech Data Center, a 1.5 MW, 15,000-sqm facility designed to anchor Morocco’s digital sovereignty and accelerate the country’s Vision 2030 goals. Certified by the UPTIME Institute and equipped with over 1,000 solar panels, the center strengthens national multicloud infrastructure while reducing carbon emissions.
The launch marks a major shift in Orange Maroc’s B2B strategy, placing enterprise services—connectivity, cloud, cybersecurity, and sovereign AI—at the core of its value proposition. The operator showcased its Live Intelligence platform, a secure, enterprise-grade generative AI alternative to public AI tools, enabling organizations to deploy intelligent agents safely. Through partnerships with AWS and Microsoft, the company continues to expand its multicloud capabilities.
Orange Maroc also introduced Orange Pro, a dedicated offering for SMEs and independent professionals, featuring priority support, full digital management, and 5G-enhanced services. With major investments exceeding MAD 100 billion over 25 years, the operator is enabling advanced use cases across logistics, industry, remote healthcare, and smart cities. Upcoming infrastructure plans include a submarine cable linking Morocco to Europe by mid-December, expanded fiber-to-the-home coverage, and a long-term sustainability target of 100% renewable energy by 2040.
Orange Maroc’s Rabat-based data and AI competency center—with 1,100 staff including 120 AI specialists—supports enterprise digital transformation across data governance, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, and user experience, reinforcing Morocco’s ambition to become a regional technology hub.
