Shams Telecom has signed a new collaboration agreement with GlobalTek to accelerate the development of technical, telecommunications, and clean-energy solutions across Iraq. The partnership establishes a framework to jointly build modern infrastructure, integrate renewable energy technologies, and deliver advanced services to support the growing needs of both public and private sectors.
The agreement aligns with Shams Telecom’s plans to expand its service portfolio as Iraq’s ICT and energy sectors rapidly evolve. Based in Baghdad, Shams Telecom provides IT services, network solutions, and internet connectivity across multiple regions. GlobalTek, also headquartered in Baghdad and founded in 2021, focuses on renewable energy, power systems, and communications infrastructure, contributing to nationwide modernization efforts.
Together, the companies aim to enhance Iraq’s access to high-quality technical and energy services, supporting government ambitions for more sustainable, efficient, and future-ready national systems.
