Edotco Bangladesh has signed a new five-year space and power lease agreement with Summit Communications to establish a more integrated infrastructure model for tower deployment across the country. The enhanced partnership aims to enable faster, more efficient rollout of high-capacity, low-latency transmission links and support long-term national connectivity needs.
Under the renewed agreement, both companies will coordinate more closely on tower rollout planning, site development, and colocation opportunities. Edotco says the collaboration provides a clear operational framework that will allow for quicker site deployment, smoother integration of shared infrastructure, and better readiness for 4G and future 5G demands.
The partnership also strengthens connectivity expansion into rural and semi-urban areas, where demand for stable networks is increasing as more services move online. By combining Edotco’s tower network with Summit’s nationwide fibre backbone, the companies aim to reinforce Bangladesh’s end-to-end digital infrastructure and contribute to the country’s broader digital growth strategy.
