OPSWAT will participate in Black Hat Middle East & Africa 2025 in Riyadh with live demonstrations of its latest security innovations, including the OP/X Mobile Lab and its MetaDefender Kiosk. This marks the company’s third consecutive appearance at the region’s largest cybersecurity exhibition, taking place from December 2–4.
The OP/X Mobile Lab will headline OPSWAT’s showcase, offering an interactive, compact environment where visitors can experience how OPSWAT protects critical infrastructure across IT, OT and cross-domain networks. The company will also display its MetaDefender Kiosk — a hardened hardware appliance that scans and sanitizes removable media such as USBs and SD cards using more than 30 anti-malware engines and its Deep Content Disarm and Reconstruction (CDR) technology, demonstrating real-time defense against risks in critical and air-gapped environments.
James Neilson, Senior Vice President, International, said that OPSWAT’s presence at Black Hat MEA allows the company to demonstrate how its integrated cybersecurity technologies help government agencies and enterprises detect, prevent and respond to threats before they impact vital operations.
During the event, OPSWAT will also introduce Unit 515, its elite cybersecurity services division specializing in adversarial simulation, vulnerability assessments and threat emulation, bringing real-world expertise to the defense of critical infrastructure.
Beyond technology, OPSWAT continues to invest in cybersecurity talent through the OPSWAT Academy, recently recognized as a Continuing Professional Education Partner by ISC2. Exclusive training vouchers for Critical Infrastructure Protection courses will be distributed at the event to support professionals securing IT, OT and industrial control systems.
Amjad Quteifan, Regional Director for KSA, noted that Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding digital economy — contributing nearly SAR 18.5 billion to GDP in 2024 — underscores the need for strong partnerships and advanced security capabilities. He said OPSWAT aims to deliver scalable solutions that enhance national cyber resilience and support the Kingdom’s goals for a secure, self-reliant digital future.
OPSWAT continues to empower organisations in finance, oil and gas, energy, defense and government sectors with AI-driven threat detection, multi-AV scanning achieving up to 99% malware detection, and zero-trust content disarmament, offering an integrated platform to reduce risk and block zero-day attacks across complex hybrid environments.
