Algeria’s Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Sid Ali Zerrouki, participated in the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2025) in Doha, where he held a series of strategic meetings with global telecommunications and technology leaders, the ministry announced.
During the event, Zerrouki met with his Qatari counterpart, Mohammed Bin Ali Al‑Mannai, to explore avenues for strengthening bilateral cooperation. The discussion focused on developing technology parks and expanding opportunities that contribute to job creation and innovation-led economic growth.
Zerrouki also visited the pavilion of the Ooredoo Group, where both sides reviewed future partnership prospects and the company’s potential role in supporting Algeria’s digital transformation and innovation initiatives.
In addition, the Algerian minister participated in a high-level ministerial meeting on technological infrastructures, bringing together government leaders from multiple countries to discuss global priorities for connectivity, modernization, and future-ready digital ecosystems. He also toured several pavilions hosted by leading international tech companies taking part in MWC 2025.
