Bahrain’s Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) has added 14 new eServices to the MyGov app, available through the eGovernment App Store, further strengthening the Kingdom’s national digital services platform. With these additions, the total number of services on the app has now reached 111 since its launch in February 2025.
One of the key new features is the Personal Bill Payment service, developed in collaboration with the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA). This service allows users with multiple accounts to make consolidated payments in a single step. The update also introduces humanitarian and religious services, including the “Fael Khier” feature in partnership with the Ministry of Interior, as well as zakat and donation payments.
Additional enhancements include access to mosque and Ramadan majlis locations, prayer times, Qibla direction, daily moon phases, and both Gregorian and Hijri calendars, introduced in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments. Users can also update their mobile number and email directly through the app in collaboration with the General Directorate of Traffic.
Health-related services have also been expanded. Users can now view vaccination records, report missing data, download vaccination certificates through Primary Healthcare Centers, and access athletes’ health certificates in coordination with government hospitals. Since its launch, the MyGov app has surpassed 640,000 downloads by October 2025, reflecting strong public adoption and growing reliance on digital government services.
