SHE CAN – Tech & AI Edition Empowers Women in Egypt’s Growing Technology and AI Sectors

CAIRO — Sun, 07 Dec 2025

Entreprenelle, in collaboration with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), has launched the second mini edition of “SHE CAN – Tech & AI Edition” at the Creativa Innovation Hub in Heliopolis, Cairo. The event was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the National Council for Women, and the National Council for Persons with Disabilities, and supported by key partners including Kuwait Finance House – Egypt (KFH-Egypt), Capgemini Egypt, and Bless.

The event welcomed more than 1,000 visitors and 45 speakers, bringing together women entrepreneurs, business leaders, investors, freelancers, and Generation Z job seekers. The focus was on technology, artificial intelligence, career development, and employment opportunities, with sessions dedicated to integrating AI and digital tools into business operations, financial management, digital marketing, e-commerce, education, and entrepreneurship.

Rania Ayman, Founder and CEO of Entreprenelle, said the event reflects the organization’s long-term commitment to strengthening women’s participation in the technology sector. She cited ITIDA data showing that Egypt’s tech sector currently employs over 300,000 people, with women representing more than 30 percent of the workforce. She added that plans are in place to increase employment to 500,000 by 2026, creating major new opportunities for women in technology-driven careers.

SHE CAN continues to serve as a regional platform for knowledge-sharing, professional networking, and investment opportunities, supporting women’s career growth and innovation across the Middle East and North Africa. Entreprenelle has spent more than a decade building entrepreneurial capacity through its four-step framework focused on awareness, education, access to resources, and economic development.
