Vodafone and HiWEB Announce Strategic Partnership to Expand Telecom Services in Iran

Vodafone and HiWEB, one of Iran’s leading internet service providers, have announced a new non-equity Partner Market agreement to modernize and expand Iran’s fixed and mobile broadband landscape. Under the partnership, Vodafone will support HiWEB in upgrading network and IT infrastructure, enabling the rollout of enhanced broadband services for both consumer and enterprise customers across the country.

The agreement also allows HiWEB to deliver fixed and mobile services to Vodafone’s multinational corporate clients operating in Iran. Vodafone will provide expertise across marketing, distribution, sales, and the development of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions tailored to the Iranian market.

Vodafone Partner Markets CEO Diego Massidda said the collaboration will benefit both organisations by improving service quality—particularly in rural regions—and offering Vodafone’s global customers reliable connectivity in Iran. HiWEB CEO Seyed Iman Miri added that the partnership will accelerate HiWEB’s ambition to become a leading national operator by leveraging Vodafone’s global experience in broadband, wireless technologies, IoT, and enterprise solutions.

HiWEB, already rolling out LTE networks across 25,000 rural villages, sees the agreement as a catalyst for expanded broadband coverage and more advanced digital services across Iran.
