LG Electronics (LG) today announced its strategic collaboration with ZāZEN Properties, a leading sustainable property developer, to integrate LG’s cutting-edge HVAC solutions into the new ZāZEN Gardens residential community in Al Furjan, Dubai.
Highlighting a shared commitment to creating premium living spaces that are both luxurious and environmentally responsible, the partnership aims to set a new benchmark for sustainable development in the region.
ZāZEN Properties envisioned ZāZEN Gardens as a model for modern, eco-conscious living—offering residents elevated comfort and air quality in Dubai’s demanding climate while meeting strict sustainability targets, including LEED Gold certification.
To support these goals, LG deployed its advanced Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) solutions, including LG Inverter-Driven VRF Systems and the state-of-the-art MULTI V system. The MULTI V platform uses refrigerant as the cooling and heating medium and enables a single outdoor unit to connect to multiple indoor units, each with independent temperature control, delivering strong energy efficiency and zoning performance.
For improved indoor air quality, LG provided fresh air handling units featuring a unique double wheel configuration designed to enhance both air quality and energy efficiency. LG also incorporated filtration solutions such as MERV 6 filters in fan coil units within apartments to improve air purity. Advanced thermostats were proposed as well, allowing temperature adjustments in precise 0.5°C increments.
For centralized monitoring and optimization, the LG Central Controller AC Manager provides a building control system that enables facility managers to monitor, control, and optimize performance across connected units from a central location, offering real-time data, scheduling, and energy management features.
