Movandi Selected to Support Saudi Arabia’s Push for Next-Generation Wireless Innovation

Movandi, a semiconductor and systems innovator specialising in next-generation wireless communications, has been selected under Saudi Arabia’s National Technology Development Program (NTDP) “Relocate” initiative, a flagship programme designed to attract and scale leading global deep-tech companies. The move marks Movandi’s formal expansion into the Kingdom and positions its advanced wireless and radio frequency technologies as a key enabler of Saudi Arabia’s digital and artificial intelligence transformation.

Delivered in partnership with the National Semiconductor Hub, the selection aligns Movandi’s proprietary technologies with national priorities around digital infrastructure, AI readiness, and semiconductor development. The Relocate initiative provides sovereign incentives to encourage globally recognised technology firms to establish significant operations in Saudi Arabia, supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 ambitions.

By welcoming Movandi, the NTDP highlights the growing importance of advanced wireless architectures capable of handling the massive data demands of hyper-connected smart cities, next-generation networks, and a rapidly expanding AI ecosystem. Movandi’s technologies are expected to play a critical role in enabling scalable, high-performance connectivity across both terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks.

As part of the initiative, Movandi will establish a regional hub in Riyadh to support the deployment of high-performance wireless fabrics across the Middle East and North Africa. Its collaboration with the National Semiconductor Hub will integrate specialised radio frequency integrated circuit technologies for satellite communications and 5G into Saudi Arabia’s expanding semiconductor value chain, strengthening links between global innovation and regional growth markets.

Leaders from the NTDP and NSH said Movandi’s selection validates its role as a strategic contributor to national digital infrastructure and advanced connectivity, while Movandi’s leadership described the expansion as a significant opportunity to support Vision 2030 through intelligent wireless systems that enable data-driven development at scale.
