Propeller Launches San Francisco Residency for MENA Tech Builders

Venture capital firm Propeller has announced the launch of Kernel Camp, an eight-week residency programme designed for early-stage technology founders from the MENA region building AI infrastructure and foundational software. The inaugural cohort will take place in San Francisco during April and May 2026, immersing selected teams in Silicon Valley’s AI and deep-tech ecosystem.

Kernel Camp targets founders working full time on demo-ready products with early traction. Participants will focus on advancing product development, validating technical and market assumptions, and building relationships with engineers, operators, and investors active in AI infrastructure. Propeller will fully cover housing and programme-related costs for the selected founders.

The residency blends structured workshops with weekly sessions led by experienced industry practitioners, alongside one-on-one office hours and visits to leading technology companies and venture capital firms. The programme will conclude with a demo day, giving founders the opportunity to present their products to Propeller’s Silicon Valley network and engage potential partners and investors.

Kernel Camp follows the recent launch of Propeller’s Fund III, a $50 million fund focused on AI infrastructure, developer tools, and deep software across MENA and the United States. Applications for the residency are now open through Propeller’s website.
