NATO Mobile Training Team Strengthens Jordan’s Logistics Operational Planning Capabilities

A specialized Mobile Training Team (MTT) from NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command Naples has conducted an intensive course on the Logistics Operational Planning Process for Jordanian Armed Forces officers, reinforcing the long-standing partnership between NATO and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The week-long programme was held in Amman from December 7 to 11, 2025, with the participation of 21 Jordanian logistics officers.

The training focused on sharing NATO’s best practices, doctrine, and standardized procedures for logistics support in multinational operational environments. As logistics underpin the success of any military operation, the course aimed to enhance participants’ ability to plan, sustain, and coordinate forces effectively at the operational level, particularly within joint and coalition headquarters.

During the programme, Jordanian logistics staff took part in both theoretical instruction and practical syndicate exercises designed to replicate real-world operational planning scenarios. The emphasis on operational-level logistics planning equips officers with the skills needed to contribute more effectively to national missions as well as multinational exercises and peacekeeping operations alongside Allied forces.

The successful delivery of the course highlights the depth of NATO–Jordan cooperation and reflects a shared commitment to improving interoperability, operational readiness, and regional stability through sustained capacity-building initiatives.
