PayTabs Kuwait, part of the Saudi Arabia–based PayTabs Group, has announced a strategic partnership with BEDE Kuwait to accelerate the growth of digital payment services and commerce across the country. BEDE is the fintech arm of Zain Group, providing payment solutions for consumers and businesses across multiple Middle East and Africa markets.
The partnership was unveiled during NEXUS 2025, Kuwait’s technology and innovation platform, and aims to empower merchants with secure, seamless, and locally optimised financial technology solutions. A key outcome of the collaboration is the pilot launch of BEDE Shop, a rapid web-enablement social commerce platform powered by PayTabs.
BEDE Shop allows entrepreneurs and small businesses to create branded online storefronts and begin selling within minutes. Through a guided, few-click setup, merchants can add products, customise their store, and deliver a full cart-to-checkout experience without the need for developers or external agencies.
Once fully rolled out, the platform will enable SMEs and startups to accept payments through secure links shared on social platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook, as well as through static QR codes for contactless in-store payments. The solution is designed to simplify payment acceptance, invoicing, and checkout while enhancing security and usability for businesses operating in Kuwait’s digital economy.
