Nepal Telecom (NT) has announced a 30% cash dividend, inclusive of tax, to be distributed to its shareholders from profits earned during the last fiscal year. The decision maintains consistency with the dividend payout announced by the state-owned telecom operator in the previous year.
According to the company, the dividend will be approved at its upcoming annual general meeting scheduled for January 14, 2026. Nepal Telecom has set January 4, 2026, as the book closure date to determine shareholder eligibility for the dividend distribution.
The announcement reflects Nepal Telecom’s stable financial performance and continued commitment to delivering shareholder value. As one of Nepal’s largest state-owned enterprises, the company remains a key contributor to the country’s telecommunications sector and public revenues.
