Saudi Arabia: Huawei Cloud shares strategy, strengthens partner network

Huawei Cloud has reinforced its commitment to Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation agenda by bringing together more than 150 partners at its Saudi Arabia Partner Day, Recruitment & Appreciation Gala held at the InterContinental Riyadh.

The event showcased Huawei Cloud’s role in building one of the Kingdom’s fastest-growing cloud ecosystems, underlining its focus on enablement, innovation, and long-term collaboration with local partners. Participants reviewed progress made over the past year and aligned on future opportunities to drive measurable customer impact across sectors.

Lawrence Liu, CEO of Huawei Cloud Saudi Arabia, said partners remain central to the company’s success in the Kingdom, highlighting continued investment in partner-focused policies, advanced cloud solutions, and incentive structures designed to support sustainable growth and customer value creation.

Discussions during the event centered on strengthening the partner ecosystem and expanding scalable cloud offerings. Yong Hu, Director of Partner Development at Huawei Cloud Saudi Arabia, outlined how close collaboration with partners has driven ecosystem maturity, differentiation, and innovation, translating into tangible outcomes for customers.

Partner success stories were a key feature of the gathering. Points Information Technology demonstrated a live avatar powered by Huawei AI solutions, while Raqmeyat shared insights into leveraging digital marketing to accelerate demand generation. Ejada Systems Company, MDS for Computer Systems, BTC (Baud Telecom Company), and NAS Solutions also highlighted their growth journeys within the Huawei Cloud ecosystem.

Partner excellence was recognised during the event, with more than 15 partners receiving awards for outstanding performance. BTC was named Outstanding Growth Partner, while MDS for Computer Systems and Ejada Systems Company received Outstanding Revenue Partner awards, reflecting their contributions to ecosystem development and customer success.
